It doesn't take much for people to switch careers and passions. Baron Corbin, real name Thomas Pestock, is a former NFL player who later became a professional wrestler for the SmackDown brand under the ring name King Corbin.

He is one of the most feared contenders among WWE Superstars. On the other hand, he is despised by a large number of people. As a result, in 2019, he was named the PWI Most Hated Wrestler of the Year.

On RAW, Baron also works as a constable for Stephanie McMahon.

Who exactly is Thomas Pestock, alias Baron Corbin?

Steven Pestock, his father, and Mona Pestock, his mother, gave birth to Baron Corbin. On September 13, 1984, he was born. Baron will be 37 years old in 2022.

Corbin tragically lost his father in 2008. Steven Pestock dies as a result of Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease complications. By wearing the ring on his necklace, Baron keeps his father's memory alive.

Education

Baron received his education at Northwest Missouri State University. During his college years, however, he was more concerned with football than with his studies. On his college football team, Baron was an offensive guard.

During his time at Northwest Missouri State University, Baron was a rising star on the NCAA Division II level.

He is also a retired football player. Baron previously played offensive line for the "Indianapolis Colts" and the "Arizona Cardinals."

                                      

WWE Career of Baron Corbin

Baron's wrestling career began with his debut on NXT in 2012 and lasted until 2016. By the end, Baron had been promoted to SmackDown.

He also made his debut on November 1, 2016. Shane McMahon suspended him for a week a year later, on April 26, 2017.

He took part in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match in 2017. On April 16, 2018, he was drafted to RAW as part of the WWE Superstar Shake-up event.

Baron also got into a heated argument with Seth Rollins after challenging him to the WWE Universal championship.

Lacy Evans was chosen as a special guest referee for the match. Seth Rollins retained the WWE Universal championship at the end of the match.
